I walked by there the other day and saw a bunch of construction equipment in front of the school. Anyone know what is happening there?

That place is such an eyesore…
At those town hall meetings back in the fall (has there been any outcomes from those), at the table on downtown beautification I said that while downtown needed to be fixed up, I could understand some of the owners not being able to pay for repairs when business was suffering. However, I didn’t understand why this school building was being allowed to rot in front of us.
The school board or city doesn’t own King Ed anymore, it belongs to one of the native bands around here, guessing Metlakatla or port simpson maybey.
