No safety glasses in photo #3!  And they have Linux and Mac OS X running with Bootcamp on their Macbooks.

I was thinking the exact same thing.  Our problem would be recovery – it would have to float :wink:

Yeah I was thinking that would make a great school project, but the recovery part would be near impossible where we live. Tethering would be interesting. What about some sort of wireless transmitter? Is that feasible?

They had a wireless transmitter in theirs.  That’s how they found it.  It was more for locating the camera than transmitting data, though.

I’m going to float this by a friend of mine and some students and see what we can come up with.

Make it waterproof and floatable then wait for the wind to blow west and have a friend with a boat track it.

It would make good recovery practice for Coast Guard or RCMP Marine.
