Well, I have to wonder about the owners of small craft and fishing boats and their behaviour sometimes. I was sitting with my family a couple of weeks ago on a crossing over to the mainland and a man next to us was talking about some of the near misses he’s witnessed on his weekly trips on the ferries. Even as we were departing the island, several small boats were racing to cross our path and sailboats were just casually drifting along where we would be in a few short minutes. Hitting the rum early or just thinking the ferry will slow down in time??
