iPhone hotspot not showing up on PCs

We’ve got pretty wonky Internet here and it goes off a few times a day for a few minutes to half an hour or so. The modem/router loses sync, and there’s no way to resolve it until it cures itself upstream.
So I got use to using the Hotspot on my iPhone. Works like a charm and the download speed exceeds the ISP speed significantly.
Lately, the PCs do not even see the My iPhone wifi signal, Win 10 or Win 11. Shows up fine on Mac, iPad, Raspberry, FireStick, Google Assistant and all the PCs I converted to Linux.
JUST NOT ON WINDOWS!
Tried all the solutions, rebooting, turning off and on PC’s wifi, on/off iPhone hotspot, setting More Compatibility… and sometimes all that evenrually works.

Sp today I plugged my phone into USB. The instant I trusted the PC, it automatically popped up the netwrk icon and instantly connected without me doing anything. I have lots of data, but not unlimited so soon as I was done my morning newspapers & email I unplugged. The MyiPhone Wifi instantly showed up and connected.
So noticing the main router light was now back solidly on, I disconnected and it grabbed my default ISP signal.

That seems to be the easiest fix. Plug iPhone in, answer TRUST and then unplug it.
Yet another reason to dump my HP laptop for a Macbook and keep the Ryzen desktop just to fix everyone else’s PCs.
The only ‘good thing’ I hae to say about Windows is it’s kept my wallet full for over 30 years.

BTW if you’re wondering why I don’t use the Hub instead of cable, it’s because they don’t work here. THE COMPUTER says so if a serve rep looks up my address. 3rd level support says it’s because 5G isn’t available and they can’t get the LTE hub modems.
My iPhone is lying with that 5G indication on it.
