90% of the “other scammers” is that Canada Revenue Agency call, threatening jail time.

I still have a land line and no-one calls me, except for the scammers, or leaves a message. Why should I get a cell?
If you’re happy with the landline then there’s no reason to get a cellphone. I love the connectivity and technology in general. Cellphones are expensive gizmos that I enjoy.
I hear ya. ( 1st pun of the day) I use a cell phone all day for work/family. When I get in the house it sits on the counter. Let the landline take care of the rest.
I’m the opposite 
I haven’t had a landline in 8 years.
I ignore any calls I don’t recognize on my mobile.
