Use a JPG or GIF.

I have had to resave files and rename them by adding .jpeg to the name. But then u encounter the size problem. So I just get my computer friendly friends to resize my pictures. :smiley:

yes thanks for the help everyone. but i still have no idea what to do but I will take someones advice and get someone eles to do it lol

Fred:
Find a picture, save it so it is 120X120 or smaller somewhere [my docs/mypix]
Go to top of page for profile, and at the bottom of the page is upload avatar. Browse for your picture and upload it.
There are no dumb questions, we all started from scratch

or whatever…

Actually to resize a photo into a smaller size, there’s a handy program called Avatar Sizer. It’s free and you can get it from:
