Hollywood Video Re-Opening

Looks like the Hollywood Video is re-opening in Prince Rupert. They are moving into Movie Gallery’s old spot that is currently being renovated. The store will be half the size of the old Movie Gallery as a wall has been put up to split the area in half.

No clue when they open.

Maybe that wall is to house the Creaky door section.

Someone is willing to invest in a video rental outlet?

Really?

Surely not just video rentals, right? Maybe also a tobacco store as well?

The death of video stores is much like Mark Twain’s obituary. About a decade to soon, even longer in remote areas.
There should be an interim step, broadband stores where you can quickly load up a stick with a couple movies for a fee. GigaBit Video.

Could be just whistling by the ole video graveyard, considering that Netflix is now available in Canada

That is an idea my friend, like a picture booth walk in buy your memory stick, and quickly load a few vids anytime you want only, you have to buy the card from the outlet and it will only hold a certain number of vids that you select, and when done watching, remove and adds new ones . mostly for people that don’t get internet or good enough service to download.
