I just got a batch of invites myself.
I was going to use it… but i couldnt find a username i like… and 40 gigs of email should do… i hope
I got a batch too.
I ran out of people to send them to.
Now, is it possible that internet explorer blocks the gmail.com site? It happened to me once on another computer.

If I try to go to gmail in IE, I end up at google.com search engine…
another reason to dump IE for Firefox.

Sounds like spyware to me. Gmail definitely works on IE:
