If you are interested in a different read on the Titanic try
‘Ghosts Of The Titanic’ by Charles Pellegrino.
Its a bit technical but very interesting.
Pellegrino is a paleontologist, and has a bit of a controversial reputation.
His descriptions of the present state of the wreck and his narrative of
the sinking itself are very good. It’s a hard book to put down.
