Did anyone else come back from Terrace tonight (I was there around 6 pm) and see the fire on the newly logged hillside? Just wondering if anyone knows about what’s going on with this?
most likely a controlled burn, or a as we call it burning slash…
It was pretty scarey to come upon as it was quite close to the road.
It’s normal to burn slash this time of year. It’s cool, generally damp, and the risk of forest fire is very low.
