I saw that on SportsCentre this morning. Wild. Makes you wonder what goes thorugh people’s minds sometimes. I mean, sure, it’s Champions League Soccer, which is a huge deal over there, but still…
Is there any security at the gates of these games? How the hell can so many flares and other paraphenalia (sp.?) get into the stadium. They gotta know that soccer fans are not the most stable of people when gathered together in a stadium to watch a game.
Sure, the referee’s call may have been wrong, but there is no excuse for the display put on by the “fans”.
