Enemy Territory

Anyone playing it? Anyone think anything of it? I like it.

It’s a completely free FPS, with Windows and Linux clients, using the Return to Castle Wolfenstein engine, I think.

Lots of fun, even on my computer, I can do quite well (quite choppy still) but hey, thats because I am the master.

dudes, is there a local server somewhere?

I’m uploading it right now to the HTMF filez section.

GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

I guess it doesn’t like me…

DH, what kind of video card do you have?

Does it support 3D graphics?

Looks like the 3D drivers might not be installed, at the minimum.

I’ve got a Nvidia GeForce3… I dunno, I can play pretty much any other game on here fine.

Eso said there is a Linux client? Maybe I’ll try downloading that one.

You need a gfx card that can fully support OpenGL. Your’s can’t.

FUX0R TO THE X-TREME!

CHICKA CHICKA X UNIT!

You think a third generation Geforce card doesn’t support OpenGL?

DH, try installing new Nvidia drivers or something. I have a GeForce 3 in my other box, and it runs this game really nicely.

I bet the ATI RAGE 128 in the upstairs POS could run this game

yea the game is fun… and im playing it on the geforce 64mb card… she works… but i can’t play now cause im on a router… does anyone know why it keeps saying “bad or no connection”… i “think” i opened all the ports

Trying getting off the router.

Look up the ports you need to open, then make sure they ARE open for that specific computer. My router config asks what computer and what ports… I assume yours does to.

i tried opening 27700-28000 ports… which ET servers user… and it still doesn’t work … can you just check which ports you opened for ET ? you can MSN me at danieljprosso@hotmail.com if you don’t want to post the ports on a forum… I MISS ET!

GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem**

I’ve got a Nvidia GeForce2 Mx, which is fully compatible with OpenGL (or so it says, it’s a tricky b~st~rd) and I’ve got all of the other requirements on the min. req. pages. I’m totally confused. I’ll try downloading the Linux version, but I had thought that wasn’t WIN compatible… help me?

Could someone with a working W: ET paste their progress chart so I can see what it is supposed to look like?

for all you ppl having problems with opengl, i have a geforce 4 128 mb card and i was having the same problem, just go to the nvidia site and download the latest drivers for your card and it should work perfectly

I had the same problem with my geforce 3 on some games. I downloaded direct X 9 and all was well.

i try to log on a server but theres no servers available and it says in message of the day “wolfenstein enemy territory version et 2.55” thats weird cuz i been playin earlier and all the servers were available i been lookin for that 2.55 version but its nowhere to be found not even mentioned in the official site i tried installin the new patch and still no diffrence

i think it was a special server with a mod
