I’m curious to see what the numbers are surrounding support for this project. I have not yet decided but wonder what the percentage for or against the project may be.
say yes to jobs
say yes to economic booms
say yes to something that has been in douglas channel for 30 plus years with no accidents.

say yes to ecological disaster for a few jobs not local to the area
Say yes to exporting our limited natural resources for a fraction of their value.
Say yes to importing our own refined petrolium products at a premium price.
Say no to refining oil here creating real jobs for Canadians.
Say no to exporting our locally refined petrolium products at a premium price.
Say yes to enbridge.
Also it doesnt matter what you support. Like the hst its been a done deal from the beginning.
Not if it goes to Kitimat I don’t…if it was coming here…then yes…much safer route going through Prince Rupert than the Douglas Channel.
I would be more supportive of the entire thing if the oil was being shipped by train instead of pipeline though.
Makes perfect sense to me. She needs the oil to be refined here so she can continue to drive her SUV… but seriously that is a stupid image. Everyone drives, she may have activities outside of protesting that require an SUV.
She looks like a violent radical terrist though… better arrest her.
I dont think the benifits are worth the risk, we on the north coast are asssuming.
The risks far out weigh the benefits for this project in my opinion.
It just seems that BC, the northcoast especially, is taking all the risks for the benefit of oil companies and China.
Can’t support tankers in the channel at all.
Don’t favour exporting crude but the channel’s the killer.
all the risk… none of the benefits… how can we sacrifice our pristine environment with the purpose of exporting jobs? it doesn’t add up… last time I checked this region brings in millions of revenue… tourism and sportfishing have become the life blood of this region (that and exporting raw logs), why risk a sustainable resource with one that is bound to have a negative impact in one way or another… this isn’t about our region… let alone Canada… it’s about China!
Are you sure this isn’t a guy?
