A driver and his passenger were taken to hospital following a single vehicle accident on Sunday.
“At approximately 5:45 p.m. on August 3 Prince Rupert RCMP received a report of a single accident collision 29 kilometres east of Prince Rupert on highway 16 near Rainbow Lake Road. The vehicle was heading westbound when it crossed the centre line and went into the ditch, rolling over several times. The vehicle sustained severe damage and the driver suffered severe, non-life threatening injuries. The passenger suffered minor injuries and both were taken to Prince Rupert Regional Hospital for further evaluation,” explained Constable Krista Vrolyk of the Prince Rupert RCMP.
