Dates

This year we will experience four unusual dates :
1/1/11… 1/11/11…11/1/11…11/11/11

         check this out... take the last two digits of the year you were born, and the age you will be turning this year and add the two... it will equal 111 example: birthdate = 1956
                                                        age this year = 55
                                                                  equals=   111

Hah, I think you have that a little mixed up. But I did get 2011, maybe that’s what you meant.

Yes BuBba , that is what he meant and yes I got 2011 as well , I ham amaz .

ooops… yes that is what I meant… thanks for the correction… ha ha , wonder what others thought…#@!!*

If you add the LAST TWO digits (which is what he said) of the year you were born. In my case 1951. so 51 and i turn 60 this year. 51 and 60 = 111. It works if you were born before 2000.

Oops my bad. But does it work the other way too? Both justin and i got 2011.

When you take the last two digits off your year of birth you are left with 1900. So 111 and 1900 do equal 2011. It will always equal 2011 if you use the exact date. It will only equal 111 if you were born in the 1900s. I have no idea why the math works, but it is probably something simple.

Think about it – your age in 2011 is 2011-birth year. Of course if you add your birth year + your age, you get 2011.

In other words, if a-b=c, then is it some sort of magic that c + b = a? No, it’s math.

Yeah, I was just sitting here thinking about that. Math was never my strong suit. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for asking but I dont think my wife would approve.
