The Coast Guard is cutting back on the staff on watch at the Prince Rupert Coast Guard station as of this month, but only when someone can’t make their shift, and only if the supervisor thinks it’s a good idea.
Heck they already shut down half of the base here in Rupert, if they keep it up well have no base at all, what a shame compared to the U.S and the east coast of Canada !
whohoooooooo we are getting more traffic of container ships up here and more boaters each summer so lets cut back on Coast Guard hours, smart
