A&W is coming back to Prince Rupert. It has been confirmed by A&W Headquarters.
They are building in the upper parking lot of the Rupert Square. Building in 2012, hoping to open by end of 2012, but likely beginning of 2013.

Will be it’s own seperate building, so don’t see why it would be tied to mall hours.
Not sure if that space will be big enough for a drive through.

Yah, I think it is going to be built pretty much next to Pizza Hut in that chunk of parking lot that is never used there in the back.
Pretty sure it will have its own hours, since it won’t physically be in the mall, just on its lot.
If they don’t put a drive-thru with it, then that is perhaps one of the WORST business moves EVER.
There is a very small A&W in PG next to Home Depot that had a drive-thru attached and it is on a plot of land that is very small

If Pizza Hut keeps up with it’s craziness, A&W will have a whole empty building to add to it’s plan by the end of 2012

really wow our work goes there avery other thursday always seems like lunch is good there is always people in the place… seems like they are on the way out…
Pizza Hut is closed for lunch Mon to Wed now…but it is still open Thurs to Sunday for lunch.

It will definitely have it’s own hours, as it will be a separate building, and business than the mall. It will just be on the chunk of land owned by the mall.
There will definitely be a drive-thru… entering from the mall parking lot and going the length of the building.
