Concerns on three local dams after

Three Prince Rupert area dams are among nine in the province that appeared in a Vancouver Sun article last week, a report that states that they were considered to be at a high risk of failing.

The three Rupert dams; Kloiya, Rainbow Lake and Diana Lake were found on a list gleaned from a successful Vancouver Sun Freedom of Information request.

Is that really surprising? did those dams not belong to the mill? would that not make it the cities responsibility to maintain them? Better raise taxes again to pay for the committee to decide how best to raise taxes to pay for the committee that will decide how to raise taxes to pay for the repairs.

I think the committee chair should be paid 100k/yr whats 100k these days anyway?
