lans for modifications to Prince Rupert’s Mariners Memorial Park have been drafted following April’s announcement of a $182,500 matching fund grant awarded to the City through the BC Spirit Squares program.
In addition to upgrades including improved accessibility and enhancements to both the drainage system and existing brick plaza, the park is set to receive a number of new components such as a covered picnic area, a gazebo for the entertainment pad and a maritime historic interpretive station.
