The first session for City council of February arrived on the 9th, providing the city’s elected officials to once again examine the ongoing debate over the location of the Pacific Coast School, the city’s alternative high school which has been forced to find a new location downtown, after their Cow Bay option was shot down by council in January.
Council was also to examine a request from the North Coast Health Advisory Committee, seeking to use council chambers and resources for their meetings.
Zoning issues and some background on whether councillors should be able to seek out legal advice over conflict of interest situations were some of the items up for discussion at the meeting…
