We recently got a new cell phone today and the lady programmed it to the wrong number; is there a way to self program it to the right number?

Not that I’m aware of. You’ll need to go back into to the storefront tomorrow to get it changed over.

Usually when they program your number in it, they will call it from there line to make sure that your number worked?

I have family in from Smithers for a hockey tournament. None of their telus cell phones are working. My dad has a cell through telus and it works fine here. What needs to be done for outside Rupert telus cells to work here?

hmmmm my bf’s Smithers Telus phone works fine here.  I wonder what’s the diff?

I know someone who has a Telus phone with a Port Edward number.  778 area code.  Works just fine.

What kind of phones?

their cells are telus LG’s

Are they pay as you go phones? or on contract?

contracts,and apparently nobody elses from Smithers are working either, their sons bell isnt working either
