So this HP Pavilion I wound up with was a Staples special because it’s actually a French-Canadian version the warehouse was full of.
Every once in a while, I touch something on the keypad and the whole thing goes wonky, things do not type (as only US is enabled in windows, and it’s trying to do an accent or something) and I have no idea what I touched or how to undo it as the mans are all French!
Anyone else run into this?
There must be a function key or something I can disable.
Format and reinstall ?
Check in the bios t see if keyboard is set to french
