We are so lucky in this town. Not only do we have a excellent facility like the Lester Centre and not only do we have a very large group of talented musicians and performers to entertain us, but those same talented entertainers are generously willing to put on shows like last night’s British Invasion as a complete fundraiser to keep the Lester Centre as up-to-date as possible.
There were eight musical acts with several Monty Python skits to keep us laughing while the bands set up and I can honestly say that there wasn’t a minute that I didn’t enjoy.
Many communities are envious of Rupert’s ability to consistently put on shows of this kind.
Thank you again to all the performers and crew for a marvelous three hours.
