The numbers look impressive, especially all those zeroes, but at the end of the day, you’re not going to be getting much bang for your one hundred billion dollar buck in Zimbabwe.
The African nation which is suffering from runaway hyper- inflation, just issued a new bill of currency, the 100 Billion Dollar bill, a fine looking piece of parchment that if you run to the bank fast will fetch you at least 10 dollars Canadian.
It’s indicative of the impoverished state of the nation as it continues to spiral into free fall, under the less than helpful reign of Robert Mugabe…
