Thinking of a visit to Rupert, looking for info. Not the BS you find online.
Just me & small dog, 1 maybe 2 nights. Prefer motel style where you park in front of your room.
Last visit with the wife was horrid, downtown hotel with drunks screaming at each other to F off at 3 am, worrying the car in the dark underground lot would get broken into.
Sorry to mention the wife lived in Terrace and neither of us had visited since the late 1990s and she was disgusted at the way the town’s gone downhill. Not a chance of me staying in some overpriced scam pretending it’s a “tourist resort” place. It ain’t Whistler or Kelowna.
Get a good laugh, go online see the “16 best hotels in Rupert” and wonder if it ever had that many. Like the 10 best restaurants in Fort St James when there’s TWO and the Pub.
try Inn on the Harbour, almost as good as the Crest
