Bear made his snack rounds early this morning on 11th. East. Woke up at 2:30 to my cats going crazy, noises next door, checked out the kitchen window and surprise! Bear crunching away on my neighbours garbage. Fairly good size, then moved away to stir up trouble across the street. Couple of cars drove by and blew their horns at it but it wasn’t scared off at all! Pretty mellow so I guess that would explain the munchies !! Smokey the Bear !! Be careful with your pets everybody, never know where it will turn up tonight.
I’m aware a black bear was seen on Ambrose Avenue a few days ago as well…wondering if could it be the same bear, using hayes creek as it’s shortcut to 11th?
