Really scary stuff!

Perhaps you missed the posts containing YouTube videos of the cleanup effort:

“Look, that guy found Enbridge did a bad cleanup of spilled oil!”

“But, he’s a sex offender.”

“Okay, never mind then.”

Sounds like a Vic Toews, “If you’re not with us, you’re with the pornographers” comment.

So what are you trying to say here? enbridge is so bad even sex offenders are above their tactics and that this disgusting person who apparently has very low moral standards had to quit in disgust? that’s a pretty bold statement.
might just be a set up … who knows what strings are being pulled behind closed doors
In one of the “exposure” videos (pardon the pun!) an Enbridge contracted worker noted he had made $100,000.00 in two months from Enbridge and he could not disclose the locations of the oil that was “covered.” - with soil / fill I am assuming.

$100K in two months. You think they can’t pay someone to make an artifical picture claiming sex offender or pay a couple police officials off? Even if he is a sex offender, I have always maintained that you measure someone by the good they do while still being aware of the bad they did. Who know’s if it’s bad anyway? Maybe when he was twenty he dated a 16 yr old girl and the parents didn’t like him…just sayin…

FYI: The charges were from 2002 which would make Bolenbaugh 30, and the victims were two 15-year old girls.

If the Enbridge line blew a 12" hole here it wouldn’t fucking leak. Soon as it touched the air it would self-seal.
I am so goddam sick of this endless cold and ice… for two weeks the weather report says it’s warming up but every morning it’s colder. Slipping on ice and snow to take out garbage, to get to the car, etc. Gonna have to plug it in regardless, said it would be -3 last night, it’s -21 this morning and the cars are dead!
Last winter was longest I ever remember, the summer was the worst. Shaping up to be another winter that lasts until May 15.

So again, what youre saying is enbridges actions are so disgusting that they even offend the morals of a sex offender? I dont see how him being a sex offender makes what hes saying untrue. In fact id say that it only helps his case. where else is a sex offender going to find a job that pays that much?

A little closer to home:

edmontonsun.com/2011/05/04/n … -oil-spill

Just a side note to the oil spill in the Edmonton Sun, there is an artical on the Enbridge pipeline and the federal budget that was tabled a few days ago. Just go onto the Edmonton Sun’s website and read all the comments that Albertans have regarding us B.C.er’s and it might give a startling veiw of what they think of us.

Alberta is just looking to offload their environmental risk onto us. They expand their economy and we pay the price, classic externality. They are not paying the full price of thier own economic expansion. This is why we need an international carbon tax. Those developing the oil sands should be paying the full cost of their business activity. Those using the resources in China or elsewhere should pay their share too. Yes this will increase the price of oil, but then oil will be priced at the true cost, that takes into account the environmental risk as well. And in that case, other forms of energy will become more cost effective.

So given all of that, tell me why we should care if Alberta doesn’t like us?

Carbon tax is a joke. Regardless of our wishes Harper is going to shove this pipeline up our asses. Ironically against his religious beliefs

We’re getting a pipeline.
