Adium, the multi-protocol chat client, now has facebook support. So you don’t have to login to facebook to see all those people you really don’t want to talk to anyway 
Personally, I’m thinking of dumping all my chat clients and just sticking to iChat. I love the Tokyo Train Station sounds of Adium, though. So sooothing.
