12 pieces of art by renowned Haida artist Bill Reid were stolen from the Museum of Anthropology at UBC this weekend, and now the school is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to their recovery.
“The theft of these art objects is a loss of cultural patrimony for the whole of Canada,” MOA Director Anthony Shelton said.
