Windows 10 tips, tricks

Over the last two days I upgraded my two Windows 7 installations to Windows 10. So far I am pleased with this new version of Windows. During the set-up phase I selected custom settings and I turned off most of the open settings.
I’m more comfortable using Linux/Unix/OS X. Does anyone have any tips, tricks on how to improve security, performance, or improve the Windows 10 experience? Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
