Where is this? #4

Ok, another “culturally significant” place.

I’m not going to give a hint, just 'cause the hints always seem to give things away.

You can ask yes/no questions, but no direct geography questions.  I expect somebody will find it right away.

I’m looking for the name of the place that the arrow is pointing to.

Is this a place of worship?

Is it a monument

no. 19

no. 18.  I think that’s a monument next to it, but the arrow is actually pointing to a building.

Is it a country that has a romance language as their official language?

Yes.  17.

Also, I can’t believe Che Guevara hasn’t guessed this one yet.  Such a good friend of Fidel would certainly recognize this building.  Oh yeah, you’re dead, never mind.

WHAT!!! Che is dead!!!   “no ha muerto” Miguellississimo… I reincarnated in Señor Hugo Chavez.

This is my Monument and Mausoleum in Santa Clara, Cuba

Recognized it right away  from here in Revolutionary Heaven

Yes, Futuregirl, that was an official hint

Fidel would most likely recognize the building.  Che wouldn’t recognize the building, because he’s dead.

Che No ha muerto=Che is not dead

Here is a question:  In that location is there a night Club by the name of TROPICANA??

I used to date a dancing girl in there years ago.  Her name was LOLA

Si, yo “Habla Cuba” perfectemente.

By “in that location” do you mean the building or the city?

To win this, you need to identify the building, by the way.

Are you mixing up Tropicana in Havana with Copacabana in New York?  Lola was a showgirl in New York, but the Tropicana is in Havana.

Does it snow there

No, not usually in this city.  I couldn’t find any record of snow in this city.

I do mean the TROPICANA
So my question should have read as follows:  In that city is there a night Club by the name of TROPICANA?? And don’t mix up my LOLA with some other girl…there was no other girl like my LOLA.

By the way the only Copacabana that I know is in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil
As usual, the Americans have come up with a cheap copy.

Yes, I just googled the city’s name and Tropicana, and there seems to be more than one night club in this city by the name of Tropicana.  Some restaurants and hotels too.

So the answer is yes.

The famous nightclub (with Lola the showgirl that you referred to) is in New York.

Was my friend Fidel present at the inauguration/opening of that building?
Was it built in the last 10 years?

would this city border the ocean

I’m changing this to “I don’t think so” while I research a bit more.  It’s possible that Fidel may have been at the opening, but I don’t think he was.  I will try and find out for sure.

Ok, I can’t find any mention of Fidel Castro attending the opening of the building in question.

Yes.  12 questions left.

No.  11

It’s the Ibirapuera Auditorium in São Paulo, Brazil.

Awesome, how did you find it?

What did you search for?

Did the Fidel Castro hint help?
