How did dylan guess this so fast? Was there a mistake in the file name?
Bottom-right of the photo has “Copyright LaMar” on it. Dylan assumed LaMar, Texas, and it was confirmed.
Turns out LaMar was the photographer. Nothing to do with Texas.

Yeah, when I looked it up under Google Images, it came up with LaMar, Texas. My bad!
But yea, it is–or, should I say, was–US Route 666. It has since been renamed US 491.
Apparently, the signs from the road were often targets of theft, for obvious reasons. It was actually always a dream of mine to ride a motorcycle across the southern US, and Route 666 was one of the places I wanted to see, along with Roswell, New Mexico.
I’m curious as to how you figured out it was Route 666 Beso
I did a google search for Texas+Highway, and hit the image at:
It is Czechoslovakian, but you can make out route 666. The rest was easy.

I see that my son was using my computer, the previous post was from me.
I was totally thinking Okanagan region too, like Clinton or Cache Creek area. The landscape realls looks like it.
