I just watched the movie “The Girl Next Door.” Yes with a title like that it does have to do with porn… but it was cute.

in 24 her alias in that show is kim (forget last name) but her acting in 24 is much better than the acting done in these awful movies which seem to be popping out of directors asses each month.

Stolen info: Next year on 24: Jack returns from an undercover mission as a transexual hooker to discover Nina’s come back from the dead, daughter Kim has become the sub mistress of an 80 year old millionaire who lost his daughter in a botched CTU mission.
The president is still black, and thankfully hasn’t fed his ex wife to the pitt bulls yet because he must enlist her to turn Jack into his running mate for a new term.
John Goodman guest stars as the leader of the House, who takes over the presidency when the entire CTU unit and white house is stricken by terrorists poisoning the Starbucks chain with coca leaves rolled into bean shapes.
In the end, Jack marries the president’s ex, and the president takes Nina as a trophy mistress and the USA is never bothered by terrorists again. The entire series concludes when the staff of CTU is found impaled on sharpened 2x4s infested with beetles. This opens a lead in to 2006s “CSI North” which will feature Keefer sutherland starring with his father Donald (as the minister who keeps cutting the budget) and debuts Alannis Morrisette as the CUPE shop steward for the striking lab workers.
I liked how in the first season of 24, the good guys all used Mac laptops and desktops, and the bad guys all used Windows PeeCees. Except there was one good guy who used a Dell. By the end, though, it turned out he was a double-agent bad guy!

I love MovieOS. There was something on Slashdot about a company that does the displays on movie and TV computers. They basically program it so that any keystrike at all will trigger the next event. So hitting any button types the right letter, etc. I love the big spinning “you have e-mail” things too.
I like how movies & tv always show Macs when they’re trying for ‘high tech’ or ‘futuristic’ props. People are so stunned, i saw a lady walk right by the Mac display and start talking to the sales guy about the neat computer she saw on a show. I think she thought the one on the table in front of her was a ‘new-fangled’ tea kettle with LCD display…
