Seriously?  18 buttons?  A joystick?

Holy crap…I though that was a joke site.  Is that for real?  18 buttons?!  WTF?

Oh it’s a joke?  Ok never mind

I don’t know that it is a joke…gonna take another look at that site:)  Attached the press release pdf.

Here is the home page for this item.  Sheesh.  Wow.

Stupidity isnt just an open source thing… Windows ME.

Oh yeah…agreed.  My latest Slackware box is a unit given to me by a friend of the family, it is a Compaq AMD 900 MHz with 320 MB RAM.  It had Windows ME on it and it was completely unusable.  It would run for 1-3 minutes then totally lock up…pop-ups galore.  Formatted the unit put Slackware 13.0 with Fluxbox as the DE.  The PC hums now.

I just want to know how they convinced themselves that this was an awesome mouse.  I mean you might as well strap on a keyboard to the mouse.

That’s the issue with open-source projects that don’t have a strong leader or sponsor – they really can’t say “this is a stupid idea.”

Thankfully there are other projects out there that have one or two strong leaders, or a decent sponsor who can veto dumb ideas.

Someone should sponsor some real design in open-source as well.  It’s a real failure that computer engineers don’t seem to value GUI and human interface design.

Yeah, this takes epic failure to a whole new level.  Amazing stupidity.

Haha my dialup radius server is a “Terminator” AMD900 with a full size power supply snaked thru the back. Been running like that for four years now. Fedora4
I have about 6 more Terminators 900-1300Mhz with Win2000 sitting on the shelf

Awesome.  :sunglasses:

I envision two of these, side-by-side and mirror imaged, and no keyboard.
