Hey, did everyone hear there’s a new publisher at the Daily News. I hear he’s a great guy who loves fishing. if anyone has a boat and wants to show him a few good spots to catch the big fish he can be reached starting May 1 at the paper.
Okay, here’s probably a dumb question…who WAS the publisher of the Snooze? Was it Lafleur?

Yes, Stanley, Linda LaFleur was the publisher. Apparently, the entire staff did a big dance and sang “ding, dong, the witch is dead,” when she left, so this new guy has to be better.
Unfortunately, it was the editor that needed replacing more cuz the paper looks and reads like shit.

It turns out the new publisher comes up from the sales end of the business not the journalist side, so you can show him all the good holes and they’ll never make it in the paper. I think the reason he chose not to go into the journalizm side iz he cant spel.

Try crab fishing near Brittania Beach. When someone finally caught the crab people ran away screaming. It was even more mutant than the salmon in Howe Sound. I heard rumours there may even be a cod in there too.
