The investigation continues into the blaze last week at the Inlander Hotel, but some of the findings thus far aren’t adding up to an accidental incident. While the work is not complete in assessing the cause of the fire, the origin of it is such that it has raised concerns that it was not just bad luck that caused the blaze.
At the moment the building is considered to be not habitable, but it has not been condemned. The owner has been instructed that should the required upgrades be completed, then it could once again provide living accommodations for local residents…
