The got my store last night, tossed a rock the size of a bowling ball thru the window and scooped up about $1700 worth of parts. There was a webcam in the window, pointed at them and they bonked their heads on it coming thru, as it was all wonky and the powercord got yanked…
The rock had no snow on it! Where the hell did they get it? Saved it up from summer?
They were smart enough to know a webcam from a security cam, but so stunned they stole ONE 4 Gig USB stick and left all the 8 & 16 Gigs untouched? Stole a 25 pk of DVDs when there were spindles of 100 beside it?
The list of things they stole was bizarre, because they did it in front of a witness who called the cops, they got busted and I got all the stuff back. PCM NICs? Earbuds?
They could have taken one laptop and got more for it…
But get this, there was a tabletop covered with Xmas paper, I left it on as the table was all marked up… they stole the Xmas paper???
BAHAHAHAHAHA! Sucks that your store got broken into, but that’s hilarious that they weren’t too bright, and even better that you at least got your stuff back that they took.
I don’t think I will ever understand thieves and their choices sometimes. My first car was a POS Ford Escort. Only two of the four doors opened, the drivers seat was so broken that I leaned back and to the right when driving, antifreeze leaked into the oil so when I checked the oil it was always ‘milky’, the oil (mixed with antifreeze) and every other ‘liquid’ in that car leaked onto the ground, had to check the oil every time I filled it up with gas, the wiper motor worked but the sprayer didn’t so I kept a spray bottle of washer fluid at the ready inside the car…etc etc etc
Anyways - it was piece of junk and I never locked the doors, but I never left anything of value in it either - if someone stole the car itself I would probably have done a happy dance. One day I get in it and notice that my glove box door is open and various contents on the seat…I think “ahh finally someone got curious” but wasn’t too worried about it. I start the car up and off I go to work when I notice that my tape out of the tape deck is gone. THAT is what those bastards took. My TAPE. And it wasn’t even a ‘real’ tape, it was a tape of my friend dj’ing - the quality of the sound was horrid, but a lot of my favourite songs were on it and since at the time I didn’t have decks, that’s the only way I could hear them.
Boy was I mad.
what store is this?
regarding Theives, they broke into the Salvation army thursday evening and stole 2 laptop computers that belonged in the offices and not sure what else
Well post the video already!
Heh, yeah that would be a hoot although that might compromise an upcoming court appearance for the goons.
Great to hear that you got your stuff back, herbie!
Well I guess it is time to hit the churches with crime, they should be more careful then and some of the people who may go through those doors have this thing of I DON’t GIVe A SHIt , the people in charge there Captains or something like military can not think they will gather the flock and heal them suckers. When I have gone by the place and thank whoever that has only been a few times the office doors have been open and no one there, first problem. I see families and I mean generations who just sit there waiting and wanting handouts so are they the main flock. The preachers whoever they may be or think they are seem to forget how they ended up there. I would love to see these individual caught but when you run such an operation in that manner then you are helping the virus grow. Put the books down and get real, the bad drugs are in town and they will do anything to get there. It is not some church it is your basic drop in and drop off. I know there will be people coming at me for this post but reality sucks.
Do you have the right thread? planet?
i think he is referring to the salvation army being a church / soup kitchen/ community centre
Got a name from someone listening to the scanner. Same one who tossed a rock thru our window 2 years ago and stole all the wrong things then too.
Crackhead.
Twenney bux got twenney bux need tweeny bux (scratch scratch scratch) gotta get tweeeny bux…
He hit Sears last time, that’s how they got him. A girl who rents the only house in the commercial area saw 2 guys pushing a skid with a ridem mower across the parking lot. She asked what they were up to and they told her they were moving it to their truck.
So she said that that was DUMB, most people drive the truck to the heavy object instead of pushing the heavy object to the truck.
They asked her to watch while they got the truck, and seeing as how the lights at Sears were on and the doors smashed, she called the cops.
During the interrogation, they said they didn’t know Sears had a silent alarm. The Max store next door didn’t… DOH!!!
Sorry guys, the cameras live. No stored video.
…YET
Mind you we talk about the stoopid thieves what about that one recent couple of smart thieves, walking out of the Source with a fricken 42" TV. WTF where were the workers
. WOW thats is unbelievable a 42" TV
!!!
hey these guys were pretty swift, they got a 42 inch from Extra Foods to in the same week… so there is 2 TV’s out there .
Omg people extra foods does not sell 42 inch tv’s its the same story… But it happened to the source. My god next you will have the same 2 people making off witha 42 inch tv from number one …
for the record there are TV’s for sale at Extra Foods, don’t recall if they are 42" But some wizard in the marketing department has them sitting on pallet right beside the door. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of one walking out the doors- 42" legs or otherwise.
hey Astro,
I work there, they had 2 brought in at christmas time, they were sitting in the produce area. they were been sold for 649.00, yes we do have the 27s sitting by the door… there is still one there if anyone wants to BUY it…
well thanks for clearing that up…lol…
Just scored a 42" Zenith 1080p for $799 at Costco. 2nd to the last one in PG
It’s identical to the $899 LG model, just has a strip of chrome plastic to differentiate and Z instead of LG in the serial number.
Yep, that 42 incher is probably sitting at their drug dealers house right now. It’s pretty sad that the Source employees had to be notified by deli patrons that a tv was missing!
Perhaps the thieves were creditors taking a short cut around The Source’s bankruptcy protection proceedings?
hahaahahah I thought they said that wouldn’t happen in canada
