Star Wars Trilogy

#1

I haven’t watched it yet, but has anyone else bought the new box set?

#2

I hae the VHS box set… Perhaps I should upgrade…

#3

only problem with the new box set is that it is not the orginal ones, it is the special addition ones released in the 90’s.

#4

Really? Are you sure? Maybe there’s an original boxed set and then a Special Edition one?

#5

no orginal, read a interview george gave, said he was only releasing the special edition box set cause that is the version he likes.

Q: Why not release both the originals and special editions on DVD?

LUCAS: The special edition, that’s the one I wanted out there. The other movie, it’s on VHS, if anybody wants it. …

I’m not going to spend the, we’re talking millions of dollars here, the money and the time to refurbish that, because to me, it doesn’t really exist anymore. It’s like this is the movie I wanted it to be, and I’m sorry you saw half a completed film and fell in love with it. But I want it to be the way I want it to be.

My DVD boxed set is waiting for me at 7-11 right now. I pre-ordered it a long time ago.

Maybe I should go pick it up right now. I don’t have a DVD player at my apartment though.
