Anyone heard anything about this company and it’s offerings for cell phone coverage in Prince Rupert. I just had a call offering me a free phone and free hookup. The website is www.solomobile.ca. The caller stated they are run by bell. I am under contract still with Citywest so it’s not an option for me anyway, just curious if anyone was aware of this.
I thought all the cell phones for city west are bell?
They are Bell as well, I guess this is just another provider option.
Yeah, it’s Bell’s “Youth” brand. They used to offer pre-paid service without a contract, dunno if they still do.
They are Bell, so it works on the Telus network in BC and Alberta.
I’ve used them for years, great pay and go system. There’s free texting and walkie-talkie where I could call my daughter in PG and my son in 100 mile and talk all day between the 3 of us for $1 each.
On a contract now, six of one half a dozen of the other. They’re all pretty much the same.
