Myself being being of the iPhone camp. I do continue to look at what else is out there. And the other day Samsung announces the Galaxy S4, from my point of view is the main competition if the iPhone. This was a much anticipated launch from my friends that are on the android side. However what i have noticed is that not much changed. Now this is also a trend that i see in IOS. Both companies make changes and updates in the firmware but nothing is new and cool. Sure they made the screens better and put in faster processors. But that WOW factor is gone
Me and my friends in the android community both agree that it was the iPhone was the quantum leap of phone tech and sparked a revolution.
So i post this question to you. Do you think that we have reached the plateau in smartphone tech? and if we have what will be the next killer app? the next killer feature. What will cause the WOW factor

High end smartphones don’t need to change signifigantly. Little tweak here, slight improvement there, that’s all they need to do since there will always be people who have to have the latest tech no matter how slight the change is. Not to point fingers but in my experiences apple fans are the worst for it. But that goes across all platforms when you get to the flagship models.
