Prince Rupert Minor Hockey product Frank Slubowski started his NCAA career with a bang over the weekend, posting a shutout and being selected as one of the three stars in a game that saw the University of Western Michigan Broncos down the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers.

Derrick Ng Vancouver and Adrian Liu of Prince Rupert, B.C., won bronze in men’s badminton doubles, while Joycelyn Ko of Toronto and Grace Gao Calgary won bronze in women’s doubles.
