Four people are facing a total of 75 counts of drug possession and fraud in what police allege is a credit-card ring with victims all over the world.
Clearwater RCMP intercepted a rental car on Highway 5 last month after receiving a tip from the public that there were drugs in the vehicle. The four occupants were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
In a search of the car, police also found fake credit cards and equipment used to make them. Charged are Shaune Nelson, 34, of Prince Rupert, Darla Larocque, 18, and Joshua Walt, 20, both of Victoria, and a 17-year-old from Surrey.
