Serious cowbell

Dudes and dudettes, “Hazy Shade of Winter” by the Bangles has some serious cowbell action in it. Which is pretty awesome for an 80s girl band.

Babies… before we’re done here… y’all be wearing gold-plated diapers.

I’ve always kinda liked “Hazy Shade of Winter.”

There has been some serious cowbell-pounding action on my old man’s drum set in years gone by.

This is kind of an old thread, but I figured I might as well post to it since I love tunes with lots of cowbell on them.

One of my faves is “Little Sister” by Queens of the Stone Age. The bass on that is really cool too–lots of fun to play.

I also really liked “Hear About it Later” by Van Halen–the solo had great cowbell in it, as did “Got To Choose” by Kiss.

On an unrelated note, I accidentally figured out how to play the guitar riff from Don’t Fear the Reaper while I was tooling around and jamming.
