So it looks as though we had a succesful Seafest weekend. It was nice all weekend but I don’t know how the nightlife went. I did have my fill of shiskoabob though. Maybe we should rename it Shishkabob fest, three or four stands selling whatever kabobs on every block.

I had a great weekend of playing slo-pitch, and working in between games.
The best part… I slept great all weekend and had nothing to do with the pisstank beer gardens.

When I lived in Rupert, I was in the parade a whole bunch of times. It’s not that hard to get in it. Well, if you know the right people. It got to the point where I was going “I really don’t want to be in the parade anymore.”
The last Seafest that I was there for (2003) I didn’t bother going.

Back in the old days, when they used to have the Miss Prince Rupert Pageant, I ended up being on the float a few times, all dressed up with the older girls in grade 11 and 12.
Yes, I wasn’t old enough to dress myself, or there wouldn’t have been any dressing up involved.
