Serious questions: Does anybody care? Should we?
It’s unfortunate in my opinion that the school board elections occur at the same time as the municipal elections. It’s obviously easier to do them all together but these elections always receive less attention even though they are very important. Theyre overshadowed by the municipal election. There have been serious issues with the district … Closed schools, creating a middle school, potential growth… And they are not as closely scrutinized although they should be. I’m as guilty as the next guy and am not as familiar with the issues or the candidates as I should be, and that is doing a disservice to our children.
