Rogers LTE

Hey did any rogers users in Prince Rupert notice LTE instead of 3G on their smartphones today?

Yesterday around noon I noticed it on mine. However I have noticed that I only have LTE in the Downtown/Cow Bay area, as it switches back to 3G on the East and West sides of town.

Interesting. I will check when I go downtown later today. I get 4G consistently. I’ve never noticed LTE on my phone. I’m running an Android unit (HTC).

Is it possible your phone is outdated or that you haven’t bought the right package. I’m sure that whatever the problem is - you must be the cause:

Having had a number of very similar conversations to the one written about above (although less polite on the Rogers end) I bailed and moved to a less expensive provider…enjoy the read (does it sound eerily familiar to some of you?).

Very likely.

Does your phone support LTE?

Unfortunately not. Oh well. I have one more year on this phone, I think.
