Ok, so I’m reading the Globe and Mail website today and they release the results of their music poll for great songs of the road. They were working with Pontiac for something called Rhythm of the road.
And the winner is…
Bryan Adams, Summer of 69!
Now don’t get me wrong, Bryan had some monster hits of the eighties and nineties and is truly a Canadian Musical icon, but sheesh the best road song?
Where’s the Stones, Tom Cochrane’s Life is a Highway, Mellencamp, AC/DC and my personal choice for music you have to drive to, Bruce Springsteen!
