The seven day, approximately 850 kilometre Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de North 2010 wrapped up on September 16 with a ride from Terrace to Prince Rupert under clear blue skies.
On a personal note, it was a real honour and privilege to be on this tour and be part of the Cops for Cancer Tour de North. The fellow riders were amazing people and it was great to see all the support from all of the communities along the route. It was also pretty touching to hear some of the stories from the other riders and cancer survivors in the communities we stopped in, and it really drives home the need to continue to support the work of the Canadian Cancer Society. Thanks to all of Prince Rupert for supporting the Cops for Cancer in 2010 and beyond
Congrats on all the hard work, some interesting stories from the road you brought us. Nice hunk of change that you all collected as well during the course of your ride. Was nice to see that the weather Gods were on your side this year, I remember some rides of the past where the conditions weren’t quite as agreeable for a bike ride.
