Re: Tough driving at the ferry terminal?

Found this on the Drive BC website tonight, guess somebody is getting some wrong information at the information centre.

Heavy Snowfall from BC Ferries Terminal in Prince Rupert to Prince Rupert (12.5 km). Updated Sat Nov 22 at 4:34 pm. (ID# 68971)

Maybe heavy at the Terminal, but pretty clear sledding downtown!

Have heard that the highway wasn’t particularly good tonight though, anyone coming back from terrace and beyond with details for us?

Hahahahaha that’s funny.

I’m still trying to figure out why they put a traffic camera at the Port Ed turnoff…

i heard the road to terrace was closed the other day to flooding…

I tried to do some searching to see when it was closed, but came up with nothing - would you happen to have a link to that info?.  Do you know what day it was?  I drove the highway last Saturday and wouldn’t have predicted a flood - the Skeena was high, but nowhere near the levels of last spring.

I was at Farwest Bus depot on Friday afternoon, picking up a package, and one of the bus drivers said the road had been closed.

Not really an official statement, though.

ya it was friday…and same as mig someone was going to Terrace and the road was closed just past rainbow summit…

Rainbow Summit would have been a better spot.
