I don’t really get this thread, but I also don’t want to feel left out.  So, here’s what I’ve been spending my Christmas break doing.

Ah…now that’s more my speed!  To continue on with games for old fogeys here’s one of my favourites.  This reminds of the days before I had kids when I’d head south of the border and have some fun in Nevada…I’m talking about gambling (of course).

The machine is a dual 2.0 zeon with 1 gig of ecc memory and a 36gig scsi hard drive.

right now i have my matrox dual head in there because the one that came with it is a dual dvi 128mb card. So im stuck with vga at this moment.

Im very suprized how fast it is.

If you’re interested in trying an alternative web browser you might like Seamonkey.  Seamonkey has a built-in e-mail client similar to Opera.
Seamonkey is made by the good people of mozilla and can be downloaded here:

Great way to try new Linux distros and stuff…

Very cool, MiG:-)  I’ve run a few VM Linux distros using vmplayer, but, found it used a lot of system resources.  Does parallels use a lot of resources to run along side of OS X?  Just curious.

I’m mounting my portable USB SD card reader, viewing pictures on the card on my Slackware box.  GUI?  I don’t need no stinking GUI, heh-heh.

Thinking about giving Vista with Media Center a try this week… Still no luck with the OSX x86 on this beast.

Here’s a shot of a rkhunter scan that just finished.
rkhunter is a little utility that you can use in Linux to see if your unit has been compromised by a hacker.
